Thomas Allen Quimby

Thomas A. Quimby age 66, of Appleton passed away October 4, 2022 after a long and brave battle with cancer.

He was born October 30, 1955 son of the late Bernard and Erma Quimby. He was the youngest of six children. Tom worked doing odd jobs as an independent carpenter throughout his years. Those who knew Tom appreciated his great sense of humor and his undeniable talent for telling a joke even up to shortly before his death. He will be remembered for his extensive knowledge and great passion for music.

Tom will be laid to rest at Ogdensburg Cemetery, Ogdensburg WI after a private family memorial ceremony.

Tom is survived by his three sisters; Nancy (Richard) Taplin, Susan Nimmer, Shirley (Don) Murphy and many nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers, Gene Quimby and Daniel Quimby.

The family would like to extend a thank you to the staff at Edenbrook of Appleton, as well as the hospice nurses who cared for Tom during his last year.
