Stephen Blount Sr.

Stephen W. Blount Sr, 67, passed away peacefully on Saturday, August 17, 2024 in his home with family by his side. He was born on December 19, 1956, the son of Dewey Jr. and Ardess (Bryant) Blount. Stephen was united in marriage to Bonita (Barrett) on November 23, 1974. Stephen served 18 and a half years on active duty in the United States Army and was a proud member of the Marine Corp Detachment and Honor Guard, Masons, American Legion Riders and Shriners. Stephen will be remembered for his passion for hunting, fishing, gambling, riding his motorcycle and playing cribbage. 

Stephen is survived by his mother: Ardess; wife: Bonnie; children: Stacey (Tim) Kohler, Jackie Wainscott, Kathy (Jr) Jackson, Carmen Buchanan and Stephen Jr (Dawn) Blount; grandchildren: Brandon (Leyna), Kianna (Jake), Noah, Andrew (Brooke), Tyler, Joshua, Jacob, Constince and Miles; great-grandchildren: Liliana, Weston and Keegan; siblings: Jeff (Lee), Kevin, Debbie, Brenda (Clarence); best friend: Butch (Heidi), many friends, and many brothers with Brothers by Choice. 

Stephen is preceded by his father: Dewey Jr; brother: Gary; beloved pet: Harley; mother and father in law: Janet and Charles; sister and brother in law: Crissy and Peter.

Celebration of life will be held at 10:30 am, August 31, 2024, Winnebago Detachment #357 Marine Corps League, 4715 Sherman Rd, Oshkosh, WI 54901; with precession beginning at 09:30 am from 1132 Meadow Ln, Neenah, WI 54956.
