Scott (“Ski”) Muraski Jr., 49, of Fond du Lac died unexpectedly on Wednesday, May 17, 2023.
Scott was born on January 30, 1974 in Waupun, WI. He attended L.P. Goodrich High School in Fond du Lac in the class of 1992 where he not only developed a passion for skateboarding and punk music, but also found an amazing group of lifelong friends. He went on to spend his life honing his skills in construction and woodworking, putting in a lot of good years with the local company McClanathan Builders.
Scott loved to be outside in the garden, and he had a real green thumb. It was not uncommon for him to ask you to look at his most recent plant pictures. He enjoyed hiking, fishing, spending time at the beach, working on bikes and hanging out with his kids, and listening to music. He could be counted on to be the life of the party, and he was an incredibly charismatic guy. His children were his absolute pride and joy. He had the opportunity to spend many of his recent years living in Hawaii and he loved it there. Some of his favorite memories were of time spent at the beach with his kids, surfing and swimming and building huts to relax under (even if he did have to convince his kids that they couldn’t keep the baby hammerhead sharks they found as pets).
Scott is survived by his children Alex Muraski and Porter Muraski, stepchildren Kai-Charles Rumbuc and Jayci Goodell-Fischer, Little Sis Andrea Muraski, siblings Micah Muraski and Hannah (Andrew Jones) Muraski, nephew Casey Bouchard, aunts, uncles, coworkers, and countless friends.
Scott is preceded in death by his beloved mother Robin Muraski, his father Scott Muraski Sr., his dad Bruce Muraski, his aunt Kathy Conger, his uncles Keith Muraski and Steve Peters, and his maternal and paternal grandparents.
Per his wishes, cremation has taken place and a celebration of life will be scheduled for this summer.
