Ronald Lukasavage

September 28, 1950 — November 21, 2015

Liquid Luke passed away on Saturday, November 21, 2015 at Manor Care in Appleton, following a courageous 10-year battle with cancer. He was 65. Ron was born on September 28, 1950 in Neenah, son of the late Casimer and Leona (Kieper) Lukasavage. He attended Menasha High School and served our country in the United States Army from 1970 until 1973. Ron enjoyed woodworking, watching wrestling, Packers, and NASCAR.

He is survived by two daughters: Laurie (Steve) Spiegel and Ashley Lukasavage; eight grandchildren: Deaven, Hallie, Hanna, Kristi, Rachel, Josiah, Zavion, and Azaria. His siblings are: Gordy (Linda) Lukasavage, Jackie (Dave) Bucholtz, Bob (Diane) Lukasavage, and Dean (Connie) Lukasavage. There are also many nieces, nephews, and special friends, especially Jeff Moran, Candy Casperson, and Harley Tom. In addition to his parents, Ron was preceded in death by a brother Tim and a great-grandchild Xavier.

Ron's wishes were to be cremated, and a celebration of his life will be held at the TRAILSIDE TAVERN, 977 Plank Road (Highway 114) in Menasha, on Saturday, December 5, 2015 from 1:00 PM until 4:00 PM at which time full military honors will be provided.

The family would like to offer special thanks to Gordy, Jackie, Bob, and Dean for all of the care given to Ron over the years. Also thanks to Laura Tucker and Stacey at the Appleton VA Clinic, to everyone at Theda Care At Home, and the entire staff at Manor Care in Appleton. A memorial fund in Ron's name is being established to help local veterans in need.
