Peggy, 53, passed away on May 20, 2020, at her residence. She was visited by many loved ones in her final days preceding her death. She was born on January 9, 1967, in Petaluma, California, the daughter of Kenneth Price and Shirley (Schisel) Follstead. Peggy spent several years working at Kwik Trip in New Holstein where she enjoyed seeing the regular customers. She loved spending time with her grandsons, Wesley and Leo, and was looking forward to meeting her new grandchild that is due September 30, 2020. Peggy loved to tie-dye with her friends and family, and she made several wonderful creations over the years. She spent much of her time playing games, coloring pictures for loved ones, and watching her favorite shows. Peggy loved to chat on the phone and spend time with her loved ones. She always had an ear to listen and advice to give. She was always there whenever and where ever she was needed.
Peggy is survived by her children: Tammy Kurtz (Joshua Kurtz), and Lynn Malesevich; grandsons: Wesley Yadon and Leonidas (Leo) Kurtz, as well as an expected granddaughter Violet Rose Kurtz; and her two brothers; Patrick Price and Paul (Barb) Price. She was further survived by many other family and friends, too numerous to mention, but no less loved and appreciated.
Peggy was preceded in death by her parents Kenneth Price and Shirley Follstead; paternal grandparents: Ronald and Veronica Price; maternal grandparents: Elmer and Margaret Schisel. She was also preceded in death by several aunts and uncles on both sides of her family.
A formal funeral will not be held in accordance with Peggy’s wishes. In place of a funeral, an after party to celebrate Peggy’s life will be held at Peggy’s residence at 430 Reed Street in Chilton, WI 53014 on Saturday May 30, 2020 from 11:00 AM until 4:00PM. There will be a time to pay respects and reminisce at 12:00 PM. The party will then move to Seven Corners Bar and Grill located at W505 Fur Farm Road, New Holstein, WI. Starting at 5:00 PM.
The family would like to offer a special thank you to the Ascension At Home Hospice team. They could not have been any more helpful and caring for Peggy and her family. The family would also like to offer a heartfelt thank you to all of the friends and family that came to keep Peggy company and allow her to feel their love and support in her final days.
