Patricia Mae Marquardt

Patricia Mae (Kinney) Marquardt, age 88, of Wabeno, WI, passed away on March 4, 2025 at Thedacare Cherry Meadows Hospice. She was born in Medford, WI on February 7, 1937, to Richard M. Kinney and Lillian (Vladik) Kinney.

Pat was a lifelong musician. She played French horn in high school, played guitar and sang with her brothers Rich and Phil and numerous bands, including the Marquardt Family band with her daughters Candy, Kelly and son Doug. Pat enjoyed leading the church choir and singing with her husband Norm for several years at St. Mary’s in Pickerel. She loved to golf and participate in the Senior games in Arizona. For many years painting and drawing was a passion. The last few years she played with a ukulele group of gals that she so enjoyed.

Pat was married to the love of her life, Norman Marquardt, who preceded her in death in January, 2002.

Whether it was building or remodeling homes, on the roof, nailing shingles, cutting and stacking wood, or clearing land, she was right by his side supporting and helping.

Pat is survived by her children: daughter Candia Lick, sons Doug Marquardt, Tim Marquardt and Jody Marquardt.

Grandchildren: Jeremy (Alissa), Jacob, Joseph (Marie); Dayne (Brandy); Ely, Ryan and Amber.

Great Grandchildren: Jaxon and Sadie; Armin and Bailey; Destiny, Cordelia, Kelly and Draven.

Siblings: Phil (Debbie) Kinney

Sister-in-law’s, a brother-in-law and nieces and nephews.

Pat was preceded in death by her husband Norman Marquardt, daughter Kelly Ann Marquardt, parents Richard and Lillian Kinney, brother Rich Kinney, sister Virginia Spaulding, nieces and nephews, sister-in-law’s and brother-in-law’s.

Funeral mass will be held at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, March 22, 2025 at St. Mary’s Catholic Church, N9155 Hwy 55, Pickerel, WI 54465.

Pat’s family would like to thank everyone who has helped their mom throughout her illness.
