Patricia "Pat" Hubers

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Patricia Mary Hubers, age 81, on January 13, 2023 in Appleton, WI.

Born on March 17, 1941 in Appleton, WI, Pat, as she was known to many, lived a rich and multifaceted life bringing joy to all who met her. Her gift for hairdressing was almost like magic, bringing out everyone's beauty for many years before she hung up her cape and shears to manage a beauty supply company and pass her knowledge on to others. Always with a song in her heart, she was a part of both the St. Mary's of Menasha and Appleton Chaminade Choirs. She enjoyed bowling and golfing regularly and was active in several leagues throughout her life. Her love for our feathered friends was unparalleled and enjoyed having her cockatiel, Honeybird as a long time companion. As an avid reader, her thirst for adventure took her away from the Fox Valley for many years; spending time living in Hawaii, Chicago, and San Diego before returning to the Fox Valley to be closer to her family.

She joins in heaven her parents, John W. Hubers and Marion V. (Picard) Hubers and brother, John P. Hubers. She leaves behind two sisters, Paula M. (Jon) Martzahl of Kaukauna, WI and Carla M. (John E. Harris II) Townsend of Columbus, OH and a sister-in-law, Susan C. Hubers of Scandinavia, WI along with three nieces, Ashley S. (Robert) Kuhns of Scandinavia, WI, Katherine M. Townsend of Columbus, OH, and Kimberly M. (Nathan Truhan) Townsend of Atlanta, GA and two great-nephews Brady and Carter Kuhns and a great-niece, Brielle Kuhns as well as a multitude of wonderful friends.

A private service will be held at St. Mary Parish of Menasha for her immediate family only. To honor Pat, please live your life to the fullest and find joy in even the most simple of moments.
