Norma J. Patterson

Norma “Cyndi” Jeanne Patterson passed away peacefully on September 7, 2024 after a long battle with cancer. Cyndi was born to Norman and Doris (Warner) Dreyer on July 21, 1950 in Pontiac, IL. 

Cyndi was a lifelong member of the Ladies Auxiliary to the Veterans of Foreign Wars since January 1, 1998. She retired from Northrop Grumman where she worked as a security officer in Virginia for over 30 years. After her retirement in 2014, Cyndi moved to Wisconsin by her sisters and brother-in-law where she started working at the local grocery store in Freedom, WI. Her ready smile and verbal quips were beloved by all. 

Cyndi is susrvived by her sons, James (Christina) Spurgers of Virginia and Sean Ryan of Washington; five grandchildren; 6 great-grandchildren; her brother, Robert “Bob” (Marge) Dreyer; her sisters, Darlene (Daniel) Angotti and Wendy Dierich; as well as many nieces, nephews, other extended relatives, and dear friends.

Cyndi is preceded in death by her parents, Norman and Doris; and her sister, Terry Harvey.
