Mary Katherine Holdren

Mary Katherine (Hannes) Holdren of Oshkosh WI passed away peacefully at age 82 at Parkview Health Center on Wednesday, July 6, 2022. Mary was born in Oshkosh WI on September 3, 1939 to Alma (Thiele) and Martin Hannes. She was a 1957 graduate of Oshkosh High School. She worked as a CNA most of her life. Mary’s hobbies included antiquing, decorating, arranging flowers and sketching. She enjoyed the Packers, a good pizza, and a fish fry at the Hangar.

Mary is survived by her children: Jennifer (Todd) Hollenbeck of Neenah WI, Eric Schneider of Maricopa AZ, Sarah Schneider (Mike Clark) of Port Richey FL and James Schneider; grandchildren: Christopher Holdren (Elizabeth), Lydia Armbruster (Justin Seehawer) and Jordan Hollenbeck (Ben Abendroth); great-grandchildren: Aliyah & Atlas Seehawer and Margaret & Alexander Holdren; sisters: Suzanne Stadtmueller (Michael) and Nancy McCarthy; special cousin Eleanora Angle; as well as nieces, nephews and friends. Mary was predeceased by her parents, brothers and sisters in law: Reginald (Carmen) and Ellwood (Jane) Lautenschlager, brother in law: Gary McCarthy, daughter in law: Mellia Schneider, and life long friend Patricia Faust.

Memorial services will be held at Lake View Memorial Park Chapel (2786 Algoma Blvd, Oshkosh) on Saturday, August 20. Visitation will run from 10-11 am. A chapel service will begin at 11 am, with graveside interment to follow.

The family wishes to thank Parkview Health Center employees for their excellent attentiveness and care of Mary over the past year. We are so grateful!
