Mary Weisbrich, age 92 of Appleton, was called to her heavenly home on Sunday, May 20, 2018. Mary was the daughter of the late A.C. and Effa Maude Honeycutt of Kansas City, Missouri, and was born July 14, 1925.
Music was a big part of Mary’s life. She was a soloist at her church and sang for many weddings and funerals over the years. She was the youngest Past Matron to serve for the Garland Chapter #287 of the Order of the Eastern Star in Smithville, Missouri and was also a member of the Rebekah Lodge #13 in Kansas City.
Mary and Ewald had been members of Holy Redeemer Catholic Church in North Bend, Oregon from 1992 until the time the couple relocated to Appleton. Some of her favorite times were spent volunteering a the North Bend Senior Center in Oregon, and back in Wisconsin shopping with her daughter Tina and socializing with the O'Shea family..
Mary is survived by two children: Robert (Carol) Perrin and Christina “Tina” (Kevin) O’Shea; two grandsons: James Mabrey and Ryan (Kerri) O'Shea; and two great-grandsons: Nathan and Brendan O’Shea. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Ewald, brothers Delba Dee Honeycutt, Clarence A. Honeycutt, and Orlin C. Honeycutt; and a sister: Florence Evelyn Honeycutt Lord.
At Mary’s request, no services will be held at this time.
