Mary Lou Brokiewicz

Mary Lou Brokiewicz, 77, passed away after a short battle with cancer on May 30th, 2022 at Theda Clark Hospital in Appleton. She was born August 27th, 1944, in Shawano Wi., the daughter of Charles C. and Malinda A. Rueckert(Fink).

 Mary Graduated from Shawano High School and went on to graduate from cosmetology school 9 months later.

She met and married Marvin Brokiewicz in July 1966 and  later had 2 daughters. They settled in Bonduel WI., where she opened her own hair salon and later worked at Salon 2140 until her retirement. She took great pride in being a wife, a mother, grandmother, great grandmother and a sister. She lived life with a smile on her face and her family meant the world and more to her.

In addition to her parents Charles and Malinda Rueckert, she was preceded in death by her brother-in-law Lonnie Peterman and nephew Lonnie Peterman Jr. Surviving in addition to her husband Marvin Brokiewicz are daughters Amy Habeck of East Grand Forks, MN, Lisa Buettner (Mark) Of Cecil ; six grandchildren, Brady Habeck (Shelby), Brittany Buettner (Cody), Haylee Van Allen, Noah Habeck, Jo habeck, Kaitlyn Habeck ; great granddaughter Kayden and soon to be great granddaughter Juniper ; sister Joanne Peterman and brother Charles Rueckert.

 A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
