Marissa Leigh Beining

A bright light has gone out.  On June 28^th 2023, Marissa Leigh Beining died unexpectedly.  After extensive tests, we are praying an autopsy will find the answers we need for closure.  Rissa was surrounded by friends and family throughout this difficult ordeal.  Rissa was a hero until the end, donating her organs to save lives.  The amount of people supporting her at the honor walk was awe-inspiring.  We are humbled and know the love is real.

 

Marissa will always be remembered for the bright light she was.  Endlessly generous, kind, accepting of others and most importantly fun!  She loved her music, Packers and her Brewers.  Her time at the lake was her happy place.  Rissa always said her greatest accomplishment was her daughter Marley, they shared a very special and beautiful bond.

 

Marissa was born in Appleton, WI on July 31^st 1984 to proud parents Mark and Jill Beining.  She grew up in Menasha, a community she loved.  After graduating from Menasha High School in 2002, she went to dental assistant school and eventually landed at Kimberly Dental.  She was fortunate to have a job she loved, where she was supported and admired.  Her team were her friends.  Their support through this will never be forgotten.

 

Marissa was preceded in death by her paternal grandparents, Kenneth and Carol Beining.  She is survived by her boyfriend and love, Brian Bojarski and their beloved daughter, Marley (10), her step-daughters, Lexy (19) and Abbi (16) who have been an incredible comfort to Marley, and of course the princess, Lola the dog.  She is also grieved by her parents, Mark and Jill Beining, her loving sister, Mindy Fischer with her husband, Tony Fischer, her loyal advocate, and their children, Kaley and Jase.  Her family includes her grandparents Gordon and Patricia Dobbe, her godparents Jeff Dobbe and Christine O’Connor, many Aunts, Uncles, cousins, Brian’s parents, Donald Bojarski and Mary (Al)Schroeder and endless friends.

 

The family of Marissa would like to express our heartfelt thank you to the staff of Thedacare-Appleton, especially Dr. Kaiser.  Your compassion and empathy will not be forgotten.

 

A celebration of life will be held on Rissa’s birthday, July 31^st 2023, at Waverly Beach in Menasha from 3-7pm.

 

In lieu of flowers, a college fund for Marley will be established.
