Laura Gianos

Laura Rose Stevens - Gianos, age 62 of Norway, Michigan died on Wednesday, May 1, 2024. She was born April 28, 1962, daughter of the late Duaine and Joan (Verbruggen) Petznick.

 Laura lived most of her life in Chilton, Wisconsin. She married Donald Fesing Jr. and together they had a son, Jeremie. She worked many years at Buechel Stone in Chilton until her early retirement. During the early years of her retirement, Laura enjoyed traveling to Mexico to escape the cold Wisconsin winters. She loved spending time with the friends she made while traveling. She enjoyed cook outs with family and friends. Laura never passed up the opportunity to go out dancing or listening to live music. The greatest highlight of her life was becoming a Grandma. She loved watching her grandchildren grow and loved seeing their accomplishments.

 Over the last several years, Laura opened her heart to new friends who became family. They welcomed Laura into their lives and helped her as her health deteriorated. In her final days, Laura was able to celebrate her 62nd birthday with her family and spent time reminiscing about her life. During this time, Laura was happiest when she was finally able to see her son Jeremie meet her bonus son, Robert. She lit up her hospital room with the biggest smile seeing her boys together! Her boys, along with family members stayed by her side until she was peacefully called home. 

 Laura will be missed by her son Jeremie (Heather) Fesing, bonus son Robert T. Gianos (fiance Trinity), brother Vincent Petznick, bonus sister Debbie Turenske, Granddaughters Bentley and Fallon Fesing, bonus granddaughters Yessina and Jhenia, and additional bonus family Bevie and Gracie Dobbins and Autumnn Ostorero. She is also survived by many cousins and friends.

 Laura’s family would like to thank the staff at St. Elizabeth Hospital for taking the best care of Laura. A special thank you to her AMAZING hospice nurse Ken for making sure her final wishes were respected.
