Kevin H. Stewart

Kevin Harold Stewart peacefully left this Earth in the early morning hours of July 19, 2023, to join His loved ones in Heaven. Kevin was welcomed into this world on September 3rd 1965 by Richard and Carol {Wood} Stewart and sisters Donna, Cheryl and Barbara. Baby sister Lisa would join the family two years later. Being the only boy and the first grandson on the Wood side needless to say he was spoiled. He handled it well having all those sisters. He was a typical boy and encouraged Mom {not by choice} to learn how to do butterfly stitches. Kevin had an amazing sense of humor and made friends easily. This lead him to a job he loved as an auto parts manager at Auto Zone.  His health started to cause some issues and due to diabetes he had to take an early retirement. In 2012, he was the recipient of a new kidney and was blessed with a perfect match. He fought many health battles and won most of them but diabetes won the war.   

   

Kevin is survived by His Earth Angel Rhonda Hackstock, Sisters Donna Stewart, Cheryl Stewart, Barbara {David} Wolff, and Lisa {Jaime} Phillips, his son Skyler Stewart and nephews Kyle Stewart, Justin Wolff, Bruce Moore and Richard Webb.Niece Kelsey Wolff. Great nieces and nephews Kaliyah, Aspen, Kordell, Salena, Preston, Jordan and Natalie. He is further survived by Aunts and Uncles, Kathy {Charlie} Cross, Virginia {Gary} Lee, Richard Wood, Betty Faust and Louise {Robert} Kumbera.             

     

Kevin was preceded in death by his parents Richard and Carol, grandparents Harold and Bertha Wood and Arthur and Florence Stewart. Aunts Lois Wickham, Regina Gumm and Elsie Murray.   

 

The Family would like to thank all the doctors and nurses at UW Madison, Aurora Oshkosh and Theda Clark Appleton Hospitals for all the years of exceptional care for Kevin. Thank you also to the staff at Oakridge Gardens Nursing Center in Menasha for your care the past few months. Thank you to Carmen at Heart of the Valley Cremation Services for making this difficult time so much easier.   

                                               

Graveside services and a celebration of life will be held June 2024. Kevin will be laid to rest by his parents at Lakeside Cemetary in Crandon, WI.
