Kenneth Gene Batten

Kenneth Gene Batten was born April 27th,1946 and passed away January 11th, 2023. Kenneth was the son of Milfred and Mildred (Harris) Batten.

Kenneth spent his early years hunting, fishing, trapping and worked for a potato farm. Kenneth married Brenda (Buckholt) Batten on April 24th, 1965. Kenneth worked for Filter Materials until he retired but continued running his beloved Fur Farm right up until he got sick a short time ago. He was very proud of his animals and would spend many hours talking about them to anyone that would listen.  Kenneth met many interesting people from all over since starting his farm in 1974. Kenneth continued hunting and fishing until his death and took pride in teaching his kids and grandkids his tricks and techniques.

Kenneth is survived by his wife Brenda, two children, Regina (Jim) Marsden and Doyle (Lorie) Batten. 4 Grandchildren, Jakke Batten, Alyson Marsden, Andrew Marsden and Dawson Marsden. Kenneth was extremely proud of all of his Grandchildren. Kenneth is further survived by Sister and brother in laws Sherry (Richard) Hunkins and Taffy (Harold) Morgan and many nieces and nephews. Kenneth was proceeded in death by his parents.

 Kenneth did not wish to have a funeral but there will be a celebration of life later this spring.
