Kathleen A. Sauer

Kathleen Ann Sauer, age 72 of Neenah, WI passed away on February 21, 2025. She was born to Elmer and Dorothy (Van Nocker) Schimke on March 23, 1952 in Winnebago County, WI.

Kathy raised two sons; Forrest “Woody” and Christopher “Little Man” Sauer whom she loved fiercely.
She enjoyed their time spent together in the outdoors whether that was camping, water-skiing, fishing or snowmobiling. Later, Kathy enjoyed time spent with her grandchildren gathering for family dinners and holidays. Time up north was spent around the campfire, mini-golfing, go-karting and playing games.

Kathy was blessed to meet her true love, Patrick Lewis, later in life. Although they only had seven years together before Pat’s passing, they filled those years with a lifetime of love and adventures.

Kathy is survived by her son Woody (Holly) Sauer; her grandsons, Codey (Julia) Sauer, Tyler Sauer (Hanna) and Hunter Sauer (Sarah); her great-granddaughters, Oakley and Lainey Sauer; her brothers, Mike (Starla) Schimke and Pat (Jenny) Schimke; her sister, Mary (Gary) Werner; numerous nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.

Kathy is preceded in death by her parents, Elmer and Dorothy Schimke; her son, Christopher Sauer; and siblings, Richard Schimke, Bonnie Schimke and Kelly Schimke.
