Judy Ann Keller, (née Kenfield), 86, of Appleton, WI and formerly of Waukesha, WI, passed away peacefully surrounded by family and friends on Thursday, February 13, 2025.
Judy was born on January 7, 1939, to Helen Munjoy and Richard Kenfield, in Grand Rapids, MI. Judy was best known for her big heart and sassy sense of humor. Never one to mince words, she was feisty and playfully brazen. But she was always willing to laugh at herself and her own shortcomings. She would laugh with you and for you, but she was also always willing to share in your tears.
Judy loved to wear hats with hat pins, and she had a collection to choose from on any given day. She was a passionate Brewers and Packers fan, and football Sundays were never quiet. She was especially fond of board games, dice games, and card games. Her competitive spirit and sense of humor meant she would sooner flip the board than to actually lose. And if she was winning at cards, which she often did, she loved to tease with a shriek of malevolent laughter.
Above all else, Judy loved her family. She loved spending time with her five children, eight grandchildren, fourteen great grandchildren, and two great-great grandchildren. When it was not possible to be with them, she always made regular time to talk on the phone. Though separated by distance, she remained very close to her sister Helen-Jean by sharing life and laughter together.
Judy is survived by her children Scott and Kimberly Keller of Naples ID, Ann Keller of Waukesha, WI, Geoffery and Charlie Keller of Bigelow, MN, Kevin Keller of Denver, CO, Michael and Michelle Keller of Kaukauna, WI, sisters Helen Hausechild of Hastings, MI, Jane Jordan of Grand Rapids, MI, and brother Mike Kenfield of Lansing, MI. She was preceded in death by her parents Helen and Richard, her siblings Jack Kenfield, Robert Munjoy Jr., Patricia Melton, and Donald Kenfield, and her best friend Jazz.
There will be no memorial service. It is requested in lieu of flowers that donations are made to the American Cancer Society for cancer research and care.
