Jeremy Houk

Jeremy Scot Houk passed away peacefully on October 28th, 2023 at Aurora St Luke's in Milwaukee holding the hand of his loving wife Heidi after a courageous battle against calciphylaxis and end stage renal disease. 

 Jeremy was born on May 10th, 1974 in Lima, Ohio. His family later moved to Pewaukee, WI where Jeremy graduated from high school and met his life long friend Dan. He attended UW Eau Claire before embarking on his exciting career in cubicles. He worked at Humana, Thrivent Financial and lastly Salelytics. Jeremy started off taking customer service phone calls and ended up a Business Analyst.

 Jeremy loved to learn and he loved helping people with his knowledge. He made lifelong friends at every job he had, and even met his wife through a coworker. He had wings buddies, Thursday lunch call friends and long talks with his final boss/friend. He loved people and people loved him.

Jeremy is survived by his loving wife Heidi, his parents Dawn (Roy) Smits & Jerry (Valerie) Houk. He was a dear brother to Kim (Paul) Senski, Gay (Dave) Shelton, Kristin (Tim) Mahoney and Breanna Houk. He was a crazy Uncle to Jessica (Shannon) Abernathy, Derek and Taylor Kraemer, Maddy, Jack and Will Mahoney.

Jeremy was preceded in death by his grandparents and his nephew Garrett Shaw. A celebration of life will take place on May 11th, 2024 the day after what would have been Jeremy's 50th birthday. Save the date.
