Jeannette Anna Olson, 91 years young, peacefully entered her eternal home on Wednesday, April 27, 2016 surrounded by her loving family.
Jeannette was Born March 3, 1925 in Neenah, Wisconsin. Jeannette possessed a servant's heart as a proponent of civic engagement through volunteerism. She served as social advocate for food security and shelter as a member of the PPEP Microbusiness and Housing Development Corporation and was a long-time member of the Board of Directors for the Benson, Arizona Food Bank.
Those left to treasure Jeannette's many memories are her daughters Maxine (Gerald) Voigt, Rebecca Watt, Sally Bolen, and Nadine (David) Schreiter; grandchildren Sonia (Shawn) Cleary, Tiffany Voigt, Rochelle Schroeder, Jeannette (Ted) Arnold, Jackalyn (Brian) Oppelt, Christina (Nathan) Goodwin, Amber (Brad) Daugs, Anthony (Julie) Schreiter, Jeremiah (special friend Autumn) Schreiter; great-grandchildren Ethan, Samuel and Joseph Cleary, Dannielle Kleinschmidt, Patricia, Chrystal and Benjamin Schmitt, Patrick Klein, Austin Arnold, Natalie, Alexia, Hannah, Samantha, and baby-to-be Oppelt, Taya Schreiter; great-great grandson Christopher Thomas; sister Barbara Christian; and many beloved nieces, nephews, cousins and extended family and friends.
Jeannette was preceded in death by: Husbands Melvin G. Clark, Lawrence M. Olson, Floyd Brown; parents George and Josephine Yost; daughter Patricia A. (Clark) Knapp; son-in-laws Brian Watt and Terri Bolen; granddaughter Georgette A. Voigt; in-laws Raphael and Caroline Clark-Gohlke; brother-in-law Cleve Christian; brother and sister-in-law Ralph and Betty Clark.
Funeral Services for Jeannette will be held on Saturday, May 7, 2016 at Martin Luther Church, 436 S. Lake St Neenah, Wisconsin. Visitation will be held from 2:30 p.m. to 3:30 p.m. followed by a 3:30 p.m. memorial service. A celebration of the life of Jeanette will be held following the service.
