Born 1928 –2021
“One of the kindest souls you could meet.” That is what all who knew Jean would say. She spent her life serving others with a humble, happy heart. Her love of family shined brightly through, caring for her parents Ray and Genevieve (Gen) Toner, her brother Tom Toner, and loved on her sister Betty Ingalls.
Jean saw her husband of 63 years, Jim Bingen, through a long journey when he passed in 2014. Jean and Jim were both, lovers of many pets (dogs and cats) throughout the years, and good Oshkosh historians. They both resided in Oshkosh WI all of their years, until Jean recently called Helen’s House in Appleton her home. There she resided with wonderful caregivers and three lovely lady residents, and two cats in a delightful neighborhood home. We were blessed by all at Helen’s House, it was truly an answer to our prayers.
Jean leaves this earth and is survived by her son Michael Bingen, and daughter Jane Isaac (& son-in-law Mark Isaac). Also, many nieces and nephews, who she loved dearly.
Eternity found Jean on Sunday night (12/5/2021), peaceably, quietly with her family at her side. We are looking so forward to the soon and very soon time where there will be no more tears and parting evermore. Our hope rests in Jesus Christ, His perfect blood sacrifice for all who call on Him as their Savior and Lord. Our family is having a private burial with a memorial to follow in the Spring, close to Jean’s birthday.
