James W. Osterhout, 74, Appleton, passed away on December 24, 2017, after a lengthy illness. He was born on September 26, 1943 in Newberry Michigan and resided in Manistique, Michigan through his youth, before moving to Appleton.
Jim's interests included wood carving, fishing, small engines and lawn care.
He was preceded in death by his parents James T. and Mary (Udell) Osterhout, and is survived by his children: Connie Conrad, Brenda Farmer, and James Jr. Osterhout (Maria); a sister Betty Gunderson; nephews David Gunderson (Janet) and Scott Gunderson; his dog Apple; and numerous grandchildren and extended family and friends.
