Gregory G.W. Wiegert

Gregory George William Wiegert "Wiegs", 67, Born July 15,1956 In Kaukauna WI, received his angel wings December 1, 2023. He was surrounded by his family who loved and cherished him in his final moments at St. Elizabeth Hospital. Greg grew up in Kaukauna Area, but raised his daughter in the small town of Stockbridge, He had a love of working on cars as he worked at KK Auto Salvage most of his life and race cars, building and going to local tracks. After retirement, he spent most of his time with his one and only grandson Xander. They were two peas in a pod, always getting into mischief.

 

Greg was preceded in death by his parents Earl Wiegert and Vera (Beach) Wiegert, half brother Raymond Wiegert, and half sister Donna. He was survived by his daughter Kari Lynn Wiegert and grandson Xander Earl William Wiegert, Kimberly WI; his sister Becky (Steve) Micke, Kaukauna; brother Jeff (Mary) Wiegert, Slinger; half sister Deb (Fred) Gresbach, Arizona; half brother Mike (Pam) Wiegert, Alabama; half brother Dennis (Gina) Wiegert, Canada; half brother Steve (Sharon) Wiegert, Green Bay; half brother Gary Wiegert, out west; his niece Katie (Drew) Erickson, Kaukauna; and nephews Luke (Sarah) Micke, Kaukauna; Forrest (Jordan) Micke, Medford, Oregon; David (Melanie) Wiegert, Slinger; Daniel (Emily) Wiegert, Fort Collins, Colorado, and many cousins.

 

Greg was a simple man who requested no funeral. As that being said, we will have a celebration of life at a later date, which will be posted on Facebook. 

A special Thank You goes to the team of Doctors, nurses and staff members of St. Elizabeth Hospital who took special care of Greg and how they were with the family.
