Gregory A. Gilbert

Gregory (Greg) A. Gilbert, 65, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, June 28, 2022 at Appleton Medical Center with his family by his side. He was born on November 17, 1956, in Ashland, Wisconsin, the son of George and Ann (Lunde) Gilbert.

Greg attended Madison Area Technical College and graduated with a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Business Administration and Lakeland College with a Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science. Most recently he was employed with Langguth America Ltd. as a Field Service Technician.

Greg married the former Susan Hicks of Menominee, Michigan on May 18, 1981. He will always be remembered for his devotion to his family, his sense of humor and his ability to fix anything. Greg enjoyed fishing, hunting, skiing and spending time in his garage and yard.

Greg is survived by his wife: Susan; daughter and son-in-law: Sarah (Gilbert) and Bryan Whitman, brother-in-law: Steven (Theresa) Hicks, sister-in-law: Barbara (Christopher) Bradley, and friends.

Greg was preceded in death by his parents: George and Ann (Lunde) Gilbert.

In accordance with Greg’s wishes, a private family gathering and celebration of life will be held at a later date.

Greg’s family would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to the 3rd floor nursing staff at Appleton Medical Center and to the Hospice staff for their exceptional compassion and care.
