Elizabeth “Libby” Ann Koerner Sulentic, age 33, of Fond du Lac (formerly of Marquette) passed away unexpectantly on Friday, August 7, 2020 at her home. Elizabeth was born in Watertown, Wisconsin on February 9, 1987 to Kenneth A. and Jean A. (Battenberg) Koerner. She attended Markesan public schools and received her GED in Waterloo, Iowa.
Elizabeth is survived by her mother, Jean Koerner of Marquette (and her companion Larry Tanner of Montello); her brother, Patrick (Rachel) Koerner of Marquette; her sister, Rebecca (Randy) Boomsma of Dalton; her son, Peyton Sulentic of Algona, IA and special friend, Tyler “TJ” Snider of Fond du Lac. She is also survived by her maternal grandmother, Laverne Battenberg of Oconomowoc as well as aunts, uncles and cousins.
She was preceded in death by her father, Kenneth Koerner, her maternal grandfather, Thomas “Gene” Battenberg and both paternal grandparents.
A celebration of Elizabeth's life is planned for September 12 from 1pm to 4pm at the Marquette village hall at 127 4th Street in the village of Marquette (may need to use Markesan in place of Marquette for GPS).
