Dorothy Ann Hartford

Dorothy Ann Hartford passed away peacefully on April 2nd, 2025, in Appleton WI, at the age of 90.

Throughout Dorothy's life, all animals, especially dogs, cats and horses, brought her great joy and she donated to many animal rights groups. From elephants to otters, raccoons to turtles, she was a friend to all of nature.

She spent her final decades in search of spiritual enlightenment encompassing her Christian and Native American beliefs and enjoyed deep discussions with friends and family.

Dorothy is survived by her 3 children, Darlene Hartford (Steve), Kymberly Wegner (James) and Kevin Hartford (Elizabeth) as well as her 5 granddaughters, Kaitlin, Melinda, Jessica, Samantha and Allyssa and her 4, about to be 5, great-grand children.

Dorothy has always expressed the belief that flowers should be given to and enjoyed by the living. Therefore the family asks that those who knew and cared about her surprise someone they know with the gift of a flower, in her memory. She will be missed.
