Appleton, WI – Donna L. Schmutz, 75, formerly of Atascadero, California, passed away peacefully on Friday, January 17, 2025 at home with her family by her side. She was born on February 6, 1949, in Torrance, CA, the daughter of Frankie and Dorothy (Cote) Stout. She will always be remembered for her love of family. Her children and grandchildren were everything to her.

Donna is survived by her children Kimberly (Ty) Grabowsky and Gary Wilson II; grandchildren Dylan (Jenna) Johnson, Lucas Johnson, and Nicholas (Celia) Grabowsky; great grandchildren Riggins Johnson and Haisley Johnson; sister at heart, Jane King.

Donna was preceded in death by her parents; her husband LeRoy Pick; a son Wesley Wilson; and sisters Barbara Garrison and Sharon French.

A celebration of life will be held at a later date.

Donna’s family would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to Liz, Savannah, Trish, Chaplin Eric, and the rest of the staff at Compassus. We would have been lost without you. Your caring and compassion are beyond measure.
