Daniel R Jansen

Daniel (Dan) Jansen, 53, of Menasha, sadly passed away the early morning of Friday, October 16, 2020 at St. Elizabeth Hospital, Appleton of a brain hemorrhage.

He was born June 10th 1967 at Oakland Naval Base in Alameda, California, to Nola Kusserow and the late Dennis Jansen who preceded him in death in 2018. Nola later married Jerry Kusserow who became Dan’s step-father.

Survivors include his mother Nola Kusserow and her husband Jerry, step-daughter, Christy Dins, sisters, Brenda Hasse, Cheryl Andres, Nieces, Robin, Rachel, Brynn, Aubrey, Nephew, Eric, and step-grandchildren, Aaron, Damon, Summer, John Jr, Seven and Ceryn. Many thanks to everyone at Weenies bar for being such great friends and a special thanks to Tim B, Todd S, Billy S, Gary E, and Tim P and Randy H. who were some of Dan’s closest friends.

Dan served in the military and was honorably discharged. Dan loved being the life of the party, of spending quality time with his step-daughter and step-grandchildren at their family Sunday dinners. He enjoyed his time raising puppies and his dog, Sparky who was Dan’s best friend.

A celebration of life for Dan will be held on a date to be announced.

All who knew Dan appreciated his wonderful sense of humor and ease with making others laugh! He will be missed dearly by his family, relatives and friends.
