Chuck Harper, age 59 of Appleton, passed away early on Wednesday morning, June 27, 2018 at Cherry Meadows Hospice. Chuck was born in Neenah on February 5, 1959, son of the late W. Paul Harper and Elaine (Zilisch) Harper who now resides in Freedom. Most recently, Chuck had been employed by James River Corporation. He will be remembered for his devotion to the Green Bay Packers, fishing, golfing, skiing, and playing cribbage.
Chuck will be missed by his mother: Elaine Harper of Freedom; three children: Jessica (Marty) Syring of Larsen, William (Oksana) Harper of Florida, and Jillian Harper of Appleton; five grandchildren: Ella, Emily, Blake, Lynette, and Alana; three sisters: Shawn (Steve) Pennings of Black Creek, Jane (Bob) Hecksher of Florida, and Paula (Mark) Skenandore of Menasha; and former wives Lori Van Asten and Polly Harper-Zarins. He also leaves behind his feline companion, Teddy, along with many other family members and friends.
A memorial service for Chuck will be at 5:00 PM on Monday, July 2, 2018 at CHRIST THE ROCK CHURCH, W6254 Highway 10 - 114, in Menasha. Family and friends are invited to gather at the church on Monday from 4:00 PM until the time of the service. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions are welcomed.
