Carol Ann Patton, 78, passed away on Wednesday, February 14, 2024. She was born on August 4th, 1945, in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. It is difficult to put to words the degree of impact Carol had on the lives of those she spent time with. She was always willing to lend a hand, lend an ear (and an opinion!), and lend her heart to any and all who needed it. Carol was the life of the party. Whether it was hosting over-the-top events, large family gatherings, or even backyard visits on her patio, wherever she was, the atmosphere was louder, funnier, and more memorable.
Carol was blessed with a servant’s heart and was a role model for those who knew her. As a nurse, she cared for countless patients and was an advocate for the treatment of her fellow nurses. As a matriarch, she gave tirelessly and selflessly to the needs and well-being of her family. As a sibling, she was an adoring fan of her sisters, Darlene and Patricia, and brother, George. As a friend, she was hilarious, passionate, and fiercely loyal.
She was beloved by so many and will be forever missed.
Carol is survived by her sister Patricia Hayek; her sons and their wives - Jeff and Liz Patton, Todd and Jill Patton, Bradford and Kerri Patton; her grandchildren David (Natasha), Paul, Willie (Ashley), Kate, Nathan, Maddie, Owen, Olivia, Elise; her great-grandchildren Emma, Louie, Charlie, Allison, Logan, Isla, Andrea, Spencer; many nieces and nephews, and even more friends.
A celebration of life will be announced and held at a later date.
