Bradley Ritner Miller, age 51 of Oshkosh, went to be with the Lord on Thursday, November 11, 2021 after suffering with cancer for several years. He was at his home surrounded by his loving family,
He was born to Dick and Nancy Miller of Menomonie,WI, on July 17, 1970. He had a wonderful life with his family growing up on Lower Tainter Lake, traveling to many countries, and living in Liberia and Lesotho.
He attended UW Oshkosh, where he was led to give his life to Christ through the ministry of Campus Crusade for Christ (CRU). Many lifetime friends were made during these years. After graduating with a degree in history, he remained in Oshkosh and continued to be involved at his church, Bethel Baptist (now RiverValley Church). He served his church through the years both in leadership and children’s ministry, with many years as a youth leader. In later years, he was known as the “Baby Whisperer” for his ability to calm fussy babies in the nursery.
On August 15, 1998, he married the love of his life, Jane (Knight) Miller. They welcomed three lovely daughters during their marriage. Brad delighted in being a dad, was a firm but gentle leader, and loved to have fun.
Brad epitomized his life verse, Micah 6:8, “He has shown you, O mortal, what is good. And what does the Lord require of you? To act justly and to love mercy and to walk humbly with your God.”
Brad is survived by his wife of 23 years, Jane (Knight) Miller; daughters Nancy, Martha, and Juli; sister Jean Temperly; as well as many loved family and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, Dick and Nancy Miller, and his brother-in-law, Tim Knight.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, November 20, 2021, at RiverValley Church, Oshkosh, beginning with a time of visitation at 10:00 a.m., service at 11:00 a.m., followed by a light lunch at noon.
