Bonny L. Pennington, age 78, passed away Friday, August 25, 2023. Bonny was born May 11, 1945 to Melvin A. Potter, Sr. and Emma A. Potter. She grew up in Appleton, Wisconsin and graduated from Appleton High School in 1963. Bonny lived in Colorado Springs, Colorado and had a unique bond with her brother William “Willie” Potter, a love that only twins seem to share.
Bonny is survived by her children: Brenna (Chet) Hunt of Green River, Utah and Thomas (Cesilyn) Sebastiani of Hesperia, California and their brother Jon (Jenny) Olson. She is also survived by her mother Emma A. Potter, and her brothers and sisters: Lawrence (Verlea) Potter of New Braunfels, Texas, William (Barbara) Potter, Betty Braun, Kathleen Mislinski of Kenosha, Wisconsin, Penny (James) Bowen and Frank (Donna) Potter. Bonnie is survived by many cousins, nieces, and nephews, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.
Bonny was preceded in death by her father Melvin A. Potter, Sr., a brother Melvin A. Potter, Jr., and a son Edward C. Abell of Colorado Springs, Colorado.
The family would like to express their appreciation for the kind and loving care provided by Apple Creek Place Assisted Living staff as well as the hospice services she received. We will never forget your kindness.
