Anthony "Tony" C. Klemme

We are saddened to announce the unexpected passing of Anthony “Tony” Charles Klemme, 48, of
Appleton, Wisconsin, on February 6, 2023.

Tony was a dedicated and hard-working man. This is evident in his 29 years of service at Humana. He
worked in a variety of roles, most recently as Regional Underwriting Manager. Tony also proudly served
over 20 years in the Wisconsin Army National Guard and US Army Reserves. He had three deployments:
two in Iraq and one in Kosovo. His service as a Captain in his 2009-2010 deployment in Iraq earned him a
Bronze Star. An honor he rarely discussed. He was a humble man who consistently gave his best effort.

Tony loved a variety of outdoor hobbies, but his most notable passion was sailing. He dreamed of
exploring countless coastlines, lakes and maybe an ocean or two. He was looking forward to taking
advanced sailing lessons with his daughter, Julia, this summer. He searched ads daily looking for the
perfect boat to buy.

Tony’s quick-wit, humor, wisdom and kindness will be missed by many, including his daughters, Julia and
Cora; his partner, Roxanne Mehlberg; his brothers, Patrick (Jalin) and Kevin; and countless other relatives
and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, William and Ann Klemme.

We invite you to attend an open house celebration of Tony’s life at Titletown Brewing Company, 320 N
Broadway, Green Bay, Wisconsin, on Friday, February 24th, from 5:00 pm until close.

It was very important to Tony to give back and help others. He would take a day off from work each
month to volunteer at a variety of places. He always loved to lend a hand or share advice. In lieu of
donations, we ask you to do the same in his memory – quietly make the world a better place.
